Welcome to My Little Green Garden! Here you’ll find information to start and grow your own organic backyard garden. Regardless of your experience or space, you can grow something. You don’t need to pack up your family and move out to the country to enjoy growing your own food. In fact, you can grow most of your produce in an average-sized suburban backyard (specific produce dependent on your location’s climate and season).

MLGG was established in 2015 to share my experiences and tips with you! Located in Florida, MLGG provides gardening tips for you regardless of your location, along with a devoted section for Florida Gardeners that covers Florida specific planting guides and common issues we deal with.

Whether you want to start a fun project with your family or simply eat healthier without breaking the bank, MLGG provides the tools to get you started. MLGG was designed for the beginner in mind, but more experienced gardeners can also find tips covering specific topics.

My hope is that MLGG provides you with insight and inspiration to grow your own organic backyard garden, live healthy, and enjoy life abundantly!

About Me

My name is Candice – small business owner and avid gardener. I’m Florida born and raised, an MBA grad, and saved by grace through faith in Christ.

My passion for organic gardening grew from the desire for a healthy lifestyle, while enjoying an outdoor hobby where I could be creative. I believe in consuming local organic and nutritious food, living a sustainable lifestyle, and sharing what I have with others.

I also enjoy reading, learning, photography, and canning.

Thank you for visiting!
